1998 Domaine des Grandes Vignes Muscadet Sevre Et Maine Sur Lie Selection par le Vicomte Bernard de Romanet. Bright, pale straw colour. Delicate nose, restrained notes of spice, herbs and subtle floral notes emerge. The palate is a touch broad. Flavours of spice, confectionary, apple and pear over a background of yeast lees. Good length, yet without exuberant character. Clean finish, followed by an aftertaste of pear, apple and confectionary.
